Billie “Billy” Joe Taylor, age 75 of Linn passed away Saturday, December 31, 2016, at his residence.
Billy was born July 7, 1941, in Memphis, TN. A son to the late Fred and Flossie (Taylor) Taylor.
Billy was united in marriage to Patricia “Pat” Kattich on September 12, 1958, in St. Louis. She survives of the home.
Billy worked as a punch press operator for a door spring and hinge manufacturer in St Louis for several years.
Billy enjoyed hunting and fishing.
In addition to his wife of 58 years, Billy is survived by: three sons, William “Willie” Taylor and his wife Mary of Union, Anthony “Tony” Taylor and his wife Nicole of Troy and Thomas “Tom” Taylor and his wife Julie of Kansas City; 10 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Billy was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Taylor, two brothers, Raymond and Bobbie Taylor and three sisters Wilma Goad, Pauline Craft and Bonita Coleman.
In keeping with Billy’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held.
