Billy J. Shoults

Billy J. Shoults, age 67 of Linn, passed away Friday, January 17, 2025, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

Billy was born August 28, 1957, in Leavenworth, KS, a son to the late Lester and Marjorie (Todd) Shoults.

On June 14, 1981, he was united in marriage to Maude Todd in Linn. She survives at their home.

Billy worked as a self-employed scrapper and enjoyed building cars, hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife, Billy is survived by, one son, David Shoults and his wife Kristen of Linn, two daughters, Marjorie Shoults of Linn and Lisa Owens and her husband Buck of Belle, one brother, Gary Shoults of Linn, one sister, Sharon Huckabee of Owensville, seven grandchildren, Justin, Hayli, Gavin, Kylie, Maci, Landon and Liam, three great grandchild, Aubree, Paisley and Maeve, as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents Billy was preceded in death by one son, Billy Shoults, Jr., two brothers, Lester Eugene Shoults and Francis Shoults and one sister, Kathy Carver.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at Morton Chapel in Linn. Funeral Services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Matt Branson officiating.
