Betty J. Robinson

Betty J. Robinson, age 88 of Linn, passed away Thursday, September 6, 2012, at St Johns Mercy Hospital in Washington.

Betty was born August 27, 1924, in Linn a daughter to the late Peter and Hilda (Nilges) Sallin.

Betty attended school in Linn.

In May 1943, she was united in marriage to Earl L. Robinson in Jefferson City. He preceded her in death on December 28, 1997.

Betty was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed quilting, embroidering and gardening.

Betty is survived by: one son, Robert "Bobby" L. Robinson of Bonnots Mill; two daughters, Earlene Eakens and her husband Ron Sr. of Parma, MO, and Paulette Marriott and her husband Chester of Americus, MO; one brother, Cletus Sallin and his wife Delores of Linn; two grandchildren, Randy and Robert Eakens both of Risco, MO; four great grandchildren, Brittany, Leta, Shawn and Emily; one brother-in-law, Don Bonnot of Linn; a sister-in-law, Ruth Gaume of Fenton as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by: two sisters, seven brothers, one grandson, Ron Eakens, Jr., and one great grandson, Zack Eakens.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 10, 2012, at the Shirley Cemetery in Mint Hill with Rev. Frank Husted officiating.
