“B” Bonnie Barbour, age 68, of Linn, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 13, 2022, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
“B” was born on February 17, 1954, in California, a daughter to the late Herschel and Letha (Bayne) Barbour.
“B” attended Tipton High School and she also earned her B.S. degree in business.
“B” could walk into a room and make people laugh with her corky sense of humor and one liner jokes. She was a very caring person who never forgot a face or a name. She helped care for many including her family and enjoyed being around children, especially her own. Her grandchildren meant everything to her.
“B” loved her horses and dogs. She enjoyed listening to music and singing. She enjoyed sharing and remembering the “Good ol Days”. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
“B” is survived by her four daughters, Amy Houston and her husband Tony of Linn, Erin Buskirk and her husband Michael of Bonita Springs, Florida, Diedre Scheulen and her husband Tim of Linn, and Danielle Kilgore of Linn; eight grandchildren, Taylor, Brook, Zoey, Marly, Cole, Lilly, Luke, and Kopper; two brothers, Jim Barbour of Tipton and John Barbour and his wife Sandy of Jefferson City; four sisters, Cheryl Duvall and her husband Jim of California, Carol Morrison of Lake Ozark, Nancy Bolinger of California and Kathy Garber of Kansas City, along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her parents, “B” was preceded in death by a grandchild Baby Hope; two brothers, Bill and David Barbour; and a sister, Peggy Embry.
Graveside and Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at Linn Public Cemetery in Linn with Rev. Jeff Kruger officating.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
