Allen E Cherry, Sr.

Allen E. Cherry, Sr., age 73 of Linn, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, at Capital Region Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Allen was born December 14, 1945, in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, a son to the late Adrian and Pauline (Bryant) Cherry.

On January 12, 1965, he was united in marriage to Donna Jean (Crismon) Cherry in Oklahoma City, OK.  She survives of the home.

Allen enjoyed fishing and training horses.

In addition to his spouse, Allen is survived by: two sons, Allen Cherry, Jr. and his wife Deandra of Linn and Christopher Cherry and his wife Dallas of Dixon; one daughter, Julie Cherry and friend, Daniel Lanham of St. Louis; one brother, Danny Cherry of the State of Oklahoma; two sisters, LuAnn Beard and Susan McKinnon, both of the State of Oklahoma; eleven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren with two on the way; along with nieces, nephews, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Judith Cherry and one sister, Janice Bailey.

In keeping with Allen’s wishes no services are planned.
